Our company is pleased to offer for sale a two-storey house in the village of Bulgari, Bulgaria. The village is located on the eastern slopes of the Strandzha Mountain, only 20 km from the town of Tsarevo and the Black Sea coast. The sea is easily accessible via a good road, and there is regular transport throughout the year.

The village of Bulgari is located in Burgas Region, 41 km northeast of the town of Malko Tarnovo and 17 km south of the town of Tsarevo. The old name of the village was Urgari. Bulgari is one of the oldest settlements in the Strandzha region and is famous for its Nestinar traditions – the ancient ritual of fire dancing on glowing embers.

This is the very place where the authentic and mystical fire dance can be seen – an ancient pagan ritual passed down from generation to generation. The ritual takes place every year on 3 June, the day of Saints Constantine and Helena.

In this part of Bulgaria grows the Strandzha periwinkle, an evergreen endemic shrub included in the Bulgarian Red Book of endangered plant species and protected by law.

The village is surrounded by deep valleys and offers magnificent views of the hills and ridges of the Strandzha Mountain.

To the east of the village lies Bulgaria’s oldest nature reserve, “Silkosia”, and 7 km to the northeast is the protected area “Reka Marina”. The surroundings are covered with ancient forests and dense undergrowth.

This place combines the atmosphere of a traditional Bulgarian village, rich history, beautiful nature and close proximity to the Black Sea coast in Bulgaria.
