The village of Terzyisko is situated just 20km from the town of Karnobat and 73km from the seashore town of BOURGAS.
The hamlet is situated in Soungurlare Municipality, in Burgas region.
Soungurlare Municipality is located in the southeastern part of Bulgaria and belongs to Burgas district. Through the Varbishki and Rishki passes the municipality connects South and North Bulgaria. It is the second largest municipality in the region and among the largest in the country. The territory is sparsely populated, with a density of 17.7 people/sq. km. The terrain is quite diverse - mountainous, semi-mountainous and flat. The average altitude is 352,7 m above sea level. It occupies part of the Eastern Balkan Range, the valley of the Louda Kamchia River and the northern part of the Karnobat plain along the upper course of the Mochouritsa River, as well as the southern slopes of the Kotel-Varbishki portion of the Balkan Range (800m). The Kamchia artificial lake is used to supply potable water to part of Varna and Burgas region. The municipality's natural treasure is the large forests, mostly on the slopes of the Eastern Balkan Range. The area of the woodlands is 391,460,000 sq. m, which is 49.28% of the territory of the municipality. Municipality-owned land is 204,000,000 sq. m. Deposits of construction and aggregate materials are found on the territory of the municipality - clay, construction and facing stone, limestone, gravel, sand. The technical infrastructure is developed on the entire territory but some parts, mostly of the road and water supply network, are in need of reconstruction and replacement.
The municipality is the home of some very interesting natural beauty sites and protected areas: the rock formations in the Nemoydere locality; The pierced rock near the village of Beronovo; Koriyata (The Coppice) near the village of Vezenkovo; the waterfalls - Kara Sou, Siniat Vir, Stramnitsa and Kroumov Waterfall; the tourist site "Elevation 1008 m."; Kaleto, a locality where Khan Krum held an important battle with Byzantine troops. There are also a number of archaeological and historical sites from Thracian and Byzantine times, the Middle Ages and the more recent national history.
