The village of Hlyabovo is located in southern Bulgaria in Topolovgrad municipality.
The village is the second biggest one in the municipality. It is situated on a vast area on the northern slopes of Sakar. Topolovgrad is on the east side of the village and to the west there is the village of Balgarska Polyana, to the north the village of Orlov Dol and to the south the village of Kostur. Only 10 km separate Hlyabovo from Golyama Zvezda where the roads to Elhovo, Lubimets, Svilengrad, Harmanly ect. are crossing. The city of Haskovo, Stara Zagora an Yanbol are 80 km away from Hlyabovo. The village is settled on low hills, 30 000 sq.km area under cultivation, pasture-grounds and woods. The soil is rocky, maroon-wooden and not very productive. The woods are deciduous mostly oak and beech and sometimes hornbeam.
